The Nasdaq 100 index includes the 100 largest, most actively traded companies listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange at Wall-street in New York excluding financial service companies.
The worlds most famous technology index focuses heavily on industries like computer hardware and software, telecommunications and contains world's largest technology companies like Apple, Facebook or Google's Alphabet. Aside from that, the index includes sectors like retail, wholesale trade or biotechnology but excludes any stocks from banks or investment companies.
